SIMULATED SPACE MISSIONS

Your Boarding Pass makes you a crew member on a 2-hour Simulated Space Mission!!

The Challenger Space Center’s Technology Flight Deck features over $1 million in technology, including a Mission Control room designed after Johnson Space Center; the Spacecraft, designed to simulate a room onboard the International Space Station (ISS); and the ESTM, or Earth Space Transit Module, which transports teams of crewmembers up to dock with the ISS so they can live and work in space.

Two simulated mission themes are available: Rendezvous With A Comet and Voyage to Mars. The Mars mission is available every third Weekend and the Comet mission is available all other Weekends. Missions are offered at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each Saturday and 1:00pm each Sunday.

Mission dates, once booked, are non-refundable as a minimum number of participants (16) is required for each mission. Missions are NOT recommended for 2nd grade & under. For the duration of the mission, participants will be given instructions at a 6th grade reading level. 3rd and 4th graders must fly with a ticketed adult.

SUMMER MATINEE SIMULATED SPACE MISSIONS ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

The Mars mission is available every Tuesday June 12 - August 7 for Matinee pricing.

The Comet mission is available every Thursday June 14 - August 9 for Matinee pricing.

All Matinee missions are at 1:30 p.m.

Children must be in 3rd grade or older to participate in the mission. Not recommended for 2nd grade & under!

Launch dates, once booked, may NOT be rescheduled as a minimum number of participants (16) are required for each flight!
